Our refund and return policy is designed to ensure customer satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can request a refund or return within the specified timeframe.

1. general

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

2. damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, please contact us within 24-48 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the damaged/defective/incorrect item
  • Description of the issue

We will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate.

3. exceptions / non-returnable items

To qualify for a return, your item must be unused and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase provided during return pickup.

Returns are accepted in the following cases:

  • The product is damaged or incorrect
  • The seal was broken on delivery
  • The product was expired upon delivery
  • You received the wrong item

Non-Returnable Items:

Due to the nature of grocery products, certain items cannot be returned for health and safety reasons:

  • Perishable goods such as fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, fresh meat, and bakery items once delivered (unless damaged or defective)
  • Opened or used food products (unless defective or spoiled)
  • Products with broken seals (unless seal was broken upon delivery)
  • Personal care and hygiene products that have been opened or used
  • Sale items or clearance products (unless damaged or defective)
  • Gift cards

Please note: For fresh and perishable items, any quality concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.

4. exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

We will process exchanges for:

  • Damaged or defective products
  • Incorrect items delivered
  • Products with quality issues

For exchanges, the same return eligibility criteria apply.

5. refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

Refund Processing:

If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Refund Timeline:

  • Return inspection: 2-3 business days after we receive your return
  • Refund initiation: Within 10 business days of approval
  • Bank processing: Additional 5-7 business days (depending on your bank)

If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us at shudhcart@gmail.com.

Partial Refunds:

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Items not in their original packaging
  • Items damaged after delivery (not due to our error)
  • Items returned after more than 30 days from delivery

Shipping Costs:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item)
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (except for damaged/defective/incorrect items)

For Local Deliveries (Churu and nearby areas):

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. We will arrange a pickup from your delivery address
  4. Keep the item in original packaging with all tags and invoice
  5. Our delivery partner will collect the item during pickup

For Returns by Self-Shipping:

  1. Contact us for return approval and return authorization number
  2. Pack the item securely in original packaging
  3. Ship to our return address mentioned above
  4. Share tracking details with us
  5. Refund will be processed after inspection

7. quality guarantee

At Shudhkart, we are committed to providing fresh, high-quality grocery products. If you're not satisfied with the quality of any product:

  • Fresh produce: Report within 24 hours with photos
  • Packaged goods: Check expiry dates and report any issues immediately
  • Damaged packaging: Report at the time of delivery

We will replace or refund items that don't meet our quality standards.
